My stay at Central House Porto Ribeira was absolutely perfect. The hostel has a beautiful and spacious building that feels more like a giant hotel than a hostel. The dorm rooms were huge and the beds were incredibly comfortable, with privacy curtains for added privacy. The bathrooms were kept clean and the location was ideal for exploring Ribeira and Gaia. It's definitely one of my favorite hostels in the world! They also had plenty of seating and flexible spaces for working or socializing.
During my stay, there was a small issue with the air conditioning and sink in my room. However, the staff promptly addressed the situation and resolved it quickly.

The hotel offered comfortable beds with curtains, which allowed for a peaceful and undisturbed sleep. The views from the hotel were absolutely stunning, providing a beautiful backdrop for my stay. Additionally, the hotel had a unique and beautiful design, creating a pleasant atmosphere throughout.
I encountered bed bugs during my stay, which was a major inconvenience. The hotel's response was lacking, with only a small insincere apology and no compensation provided.

The facilities at TCH hostel were excellent for our needs. the dorm rooms were spacious and comfortable, with super comfortable beds. There were plenty of toilets and showers available, making it convenient for everyone in the 8-bed dorm. the staff, especially Lili, were amazing. Lili was a fantastic multitasker and went out of her way to assist us. the breakfast provided was also very good. We highly recommend this hostel, especially for its close proximity to Sao Bento station, just a 5-minute walk away.
Felt very well looked after, no complaints.

I recently stayed at Central House Porto Ribeira for a week while exploring the vibrant city. The location is ideal, just steps away from the lively Ribeira area and the beautiful Douro river. The hostel itself is modern and stylish, with comfortable beds and clean, new bathrooms. I especially loved the unique wooden entry cards and the attention to detail in the decor. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious and quiet. I highly recommend this hostel for its prime location, excellent facilities, and welcoming atmosphere.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at Central House Porto Ribeira. The location was superb, with easy access to the metro and no need to climb any stairs. My single room was spacious and filled with natural light, offering a view of the water and bridge. The room had plenty of storage space and the little fridge worked perfectly. The staff were extremely friendly and even provided a WhatsApp number for easy communication. The hostel itself is stylishly designed, matching the trendy vibe of Porto.
Can't fault the property in any way! 😉

The breakfast was very basic, lacking vegetables and protein options. The showers and toilets were not that clean.

Comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Convenient central location.- Friendly staff who provided helpful tips
High price for breakfast with limited options, especially for non-pork eaters. Lack of kitchen or fridge for guests to store and reheat leftovers.

I was pleasantly surprised by the well-distributed room, which comfortably accommodated 14 people without feeling crowded. the bathroom was conveniently located and cleaned daily. the beds were comfortable and came with curtains for privacy. the large lockers underneath the beds provided ample storage space. the view from the window was delightful. the staff at the hostel were very friendly, and I appreciated the nightly events at the bar. the bar itself had a cozy atmosphere, and the staff were welcoming. the breakfast, served in the same space, was also delicious and had plenty of options. I highly recommend choosing a room with breakfast included. Cons: Nothing to be said 👍.

The Central House Porto Ribeira is a newly refurbished property with very comfortable bedding. The staff were friendly and professional, happy to give us advice when we asked. Despite being a bit noisy at times, it was quiet enough at night time. The location near the pier is great.
Felt truly spoilt, no reason to complain.
